Hi friends, it´s a long time ago that I uploaded a photo, but this is a special event. Being a guest of Angel Illo and Miguel Parra, I promised to upload at least one photo of every city I visit in Spain, and this was the first visit: Burgos in the early and cold morning. (Thanks so much, guys)
Burgos is on the way of de Camino the Santiago, and pilgrims visit the city. In fact, people thought I was doing the camino as well, as I was walking there with my big backpack, but that was only because I could not leave my luggage anywhere.
I suffered in Burgos, cold, early, not enough sleep, and heavy luggage on my back:-))

This is taken with my new camera, teh Nikon D200, with amazing lens 17-55mm. F/2.8. I hardly had taken any shots before I went to Spain.

There is always something magic when you walk in a city you donk know and you become the witness of the waking up... There is a film called "Brigadoon" about a village that lived just one day each haundred years, this photo reminds me this picture. Wonderful mood, congratulations for the camara an a pleasure to have you around.
Miguel

Rinie!!

Well, thanking you by the "memory", I like very much this shot, with this extraordinary light in the morning. The golden stones of Burgos seems from another world, and the pilgrim under the light is captured in the right moment. It's great the feeling of the loneliness of the pilgrim, symbol of the courage in the life and in the way. A really beautiful sight of this place! Thanks!

Angel.

hello Rinie,
congrats for the camera ;o)
maybe a little bit too reddish and a pity you cropped the fountain on the left.
regards
didier

Congratulations Rinie! This is a wonderful photo, especially hand held at 1/6th of a second shutter speed. And imagine... ISO 1000. It looks great. No doubt you'll have a wonderful holiday with your new Nikon gear as companions. Don't forget the 30 f/1.4... You might want to get in some crowds and take a few candid shots at f/2. Whatever you do, enjoy yourself.

i am very happy see your picture.. its a long time without post.. a pitty, beautiful light on Burgos, congratulations for your new camera..
have you meeted some TE members at Paris??
take care

Hi Rinie

I like the superb colour contrast, between the red & the blue. Good sharpness, lighting contrtasts, & composition. The solitary person in the bg provides scale. Tfs!

Hi Rinie.

Nice, nice picture with a great atmosphere. Burgos should be a lovely place, I'm sure.

Did Angel & Miguel treat you well?

Rgs, Oscar

I know very well this place.

Hi Rinnie, you has been very near of Cocolandia (Cocolandia is in Burgos).

Let me say that I amazed how you managed the light. Look this photo and this one and you will see the difference (also the WS of the photos).

Thanks for sharing and I hope you enjoyed Burgos.

Salut Rinie
Une belle place avec un éclairage qui met bien en valeur les lieux, auquelles le personnage donne toute sa dimension.
Il est long el camino, me la ville du CID est une belle étape.
