Surprize of the day! Valushka is back!
And again with perfect detailism and observation. This time getting help from Gaudi's hand, and the result is as always: creative. Reflection on the glass and different tones of this reflected light, the chat at the window, striped shirt, face of the woman, and the 3D texture are some of the details which build up this photo. I am so curious about your marvels from that magic city. And i am sure that it will be "your" Barcelona.

Perfectly fit to start Barcelona with one of Master Gaudi's marvels, here the Batllo House, a very fine and brevbrevesque graphic detail with lots of fine curves and the blue sky reflected in the windows... a lovely shot, and it reminds me of some of your works of Santorini and Venice, even, which is why I knew it must have been your shot, your signature is right there, cara amice.

Very nice take from Casa Batllo, Valeria - I tried a very similar one last year but I never posted it on TE. Nicely done zooming in on the folks inside the room, framed by the distinctively Gaudíesque-shaped exterior façade decor. Nice shot.

Maybe this weekend I visit the Batlló and is very nice see this photo because is really refreshing. I see almost everyday this house (the façade) and is not easy find an original photo.
But you did and I think that is a very creative work.

Great shot! The mix of light and shadow is handled well, and the photo is nicely balanced. The strong column just off centre gives this a sense of unity and holds the complex composition together. Well done!

Everything is beautiful in Gaudí's work, all the details, all the curves, the metal works...

So the hard part is choosing what to photograph. You did a good job here composing and that human element only makes it richer. Great shot!

Bonjour, Valeria. Ta photo ne nous montre qu'une petite partie de la maison, mais je pense qu'elle en résume bien le style. Les fenêtres et la façade aux fiormes audacieuses et l'inclusion de ce carrelage qui rappelle un peu les zelliges marocains, les vitraux sont assez typiques. J'aime aussi la présence humaine qui dynamise la scène.

I never went to Barcelona but I think it's one of the most photogenic city in Europa.
I like the curves and the blue windows, good tight compo.
With imagination we can see a face... The blue windows are sunglasses and below I see the nose...

ero sicuro che Barcellona ti sarebbe piaciuta e che ti saresti sbizzarrita con Gaudì (ed anche sulla Rambla, scommetto!)
Casa Batllò mi piace da impazzire con le sue linee sinuose ed il suo aspetto onirico: in questa foto c'è il tocco brevbrev sul capolavoro dell'architetto catalano. La persona di spalle sembra addirittura portare una maglietta da gondoliere!

That's the style I like, very unusual perspective not including the whole object here, a mix of reflection and geometrical lines, and the people here are just where they should be, half hidden and not represented as a main part of the photo.

Ben tornata dalla Spagna con delle bellissime immagini...sono un po'in ritardo per questa foto, ero un po'lontano di TE. Comunque, ottimo primo scatto di Barcelona, con una meravigliosa diagonale-curva. Anche le tonalità di blu sono stupende...Ero sicuro che l'architettura "gaudiesque" ti sarebbe piaciuto!
