Igor Mitoraj.

This week has began a new exposition in Barcelona.
Nowadays Igor Mitoraj is the most important polish artist showing his work in the Ramblas (nowadays is the best one and really he is the only one).

Yesterday I was spending a few minutes at the evening there.
And also just yesterday I did an exam. It not was very difficult but I have been for a long time only dedicated to this matter, to this exam. And this has been one of the reason why I have been so far from TE all this time.

But like yesterday I did this exam, I want celebrate that posting a new photo in TE.

Maybe I will post more photos in the next days... but I won't post again a daily photo, like before.

But let me speak again about the photo:
In the Ramblas of Catalonia (one of the main streets of the city) is possible see this exposition. Until the 1st of July the people of the city and the tourist can visit these amazing statues and enjoy Mirotaj's work.

If you can, do it.

But, for now, I want dedicate this photo to all the people who has asked for me these weeks that I was off.

I hope you like it.

Hoooooooola.

Coco's back!!!

Cheers
Panagiotis

Hola Carlos, what a pleasure to see that you are back :)
Good photo of this interesting exhibition, although I feel that the oof people in foreground take a bit the impact that you could get in a closer view of the statues. If you are going to make a series, this is a good one to begin with.
Welcome back.

I'm very delighted to see you back with a new photo, Carlos, I hope all is going well. I like this impression from the Ramblas, for the condensed perspective effect that you got as a result of the 200mm, and for the decision to focus on the background statues which makes them stand out very well from the typically dense crowd of people. Nice colors, too.

Me gusta, muchas gracias.

Angel.

Hola Carlos,

Saludos y bienvenido
José

Hello Carlos,
And welcome back, it has been some time since we gave not hgerad from you.
Looks like you had quite an exhibition in Barcelona, your picture shows it well: Shows also the quantity of people visiting it: I am under the impression that the focus is not at the right place, I didn't want everything sharp, but ideally the good looking girl would have been the center point of sharpness.
Wish you a happy week-end - Izet

Good use of focus and DOF to isolate the statues from the fg. An unusual image that works well.
Good to see you back

Hallo Carlos
good to see your photo again :)
very nice capture of these sculptures, they look alive - mingled very well around the crowds

Hola Carlos!!! :-)
So happy you are back!
I don't post daily either, it is ok...

A great shot where people are dwarfed by these rather huge bronze sculptures, beautifullly blurred as they are under the crisp surface of the inanimate works. Nicely seen.

ciao
