| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Matador strikes a dramatic pose with his cape, in an event which sits on the fence between sport and entertainment. This image was taken, (when I could bear to look) at a bull fight last summer in Serville. I found the event fascinating and captivating in terms of the vivid colours in the afternoon sun, the sounds of the trumpets, the people cheering and waving fans in the 40degree heat, and the smell of cigars. And at the same time, it was macabre and disturbing.

Hi Karren!
You've made a very good capture of this Matador-Killer ("matar" in Spanish means "kill")... Very good details and colors, though from a long distance away, I suppose...

Hi Karen,
nice picture, well framed, the man is in a nice position and the sanded ground makes him to stand out.
