Soberbia foto Jose ! Creo que es la primera en blanco y negro que recuerdo de tu galería (luego la repaso ). No sabría que añadir de positivo con un comentario . Es el tipo de críticas en que la admiración por la belleza agota cualquier género de comentario . Yo la veo perfecta . Seguiré los comentarios a la foto . Buen fin de semana y feliz año nuevo con bastante retraso

Very impressive capture with wonderful composition.
It is an unusual practice to make such a view in B&W.
I think I would better use a duotone or leave it colored.
But it looks unconventional!

Nice work on this one, you really handled the backlighting well by finding the small pond in the foreground to keep detail allowing the large DOF to be meaningful. The clouds add a nice sense of drama to contrast with the more static mountain scene, also.

Wonderful dark composition. You played so well here with different level of darkness. This is amazing. The light coming from the cludy sky in particular.

Very well composed shot. Including the puddle in the foreground works well for two reasons, first for the extra depth it gives the image, and secondly to provide more light in the foreground with the reflections from the sky. You handled the exposure very well as you were shooting towards the brightest part of the sky, even if the sun was hidden. Well done.

Se podría hacer extraño el blanco y negro para esta foto, pero el resultado no solo es bueno: invita a ver y hacer más.

Buena la composición y el reflejo sobre el agua. Y sobre el cielo y la luz que toca toda la foto... no hace falta decir nada.

El título le va que ni pintado y aunque la foto está tomada en Madrid, a mí me trae a la memoria el poema sobre la lagura Negra soriana que compusiera Don Antonio Machado. Cuando leo tu nota me gusta imaginar el trabajo que te tomaste para hacer la foto: El tiempo que haga falta para hacer un buen trabajo como es éste. Enhorabuena.

Hola José,

Y tan misteriosa, casi casi negra, pero luminosa. No estoy diciendo que esté oscura, sino que se trata de una luminosa oscuridad (es una frase que me gustó, título de una exposición de un inglés autor de grabados). Pues eso: luminosa, pero con una luz que enseña y esconde. Me gusta mucho como están distribuidos los puntos de luz y las sombras y el grave efecto dramático que le das. Es una muy bella foto. Gracias, amigo.

Bueno Jose, que te puedo decir? Un dia oscuro, pero bien oscuro, mas no asi el comentario que te haga. Considero que es una foto con una buena composición, que llevan al espectador a deternerse sobre cuatro aspectos que dividen el paisaje: cielo, montañas, agua y proximidad.

Hi Jose, what a beautifulk nature black and White photo. I live the grey and dark areas on it. Is dificil to take nature photo in B&W and you made a great work.

This is a very difficult picture certainly through the BW, you know Jose, BW is very difficult, you can not working with colours!
I find this picture very well through the reflections in foreground together with the imminent sky. Very well done! Thanks for sharing.

aunque soy más amante del color, entiendo tu elección en esta toma, ya que el B&N aumenta el contraste y la fuerza que la oscuridad da a la imagen.
Es una oscuridad creativa, con un buen toque dramático, y un buen efecto estético y visual.

Pues si que era un dia oscuro, oscuro y un tanto aterrador, increible como funciona el b&w manteniendo una buena luz. El sacrificio con el tripode y tu espera tuvo recompensa.

Hola José!

Verdaderamente es un regalo poder disfrutar y deleitarse con paisajes asi, a traves de las fotos, tambien se puede conocer en cierta manera como es una persona, y a traves de tus fotos, te voy conociendo un poco.

Es una preciosidad de paisaje, no sobra ni un elemento en la composicion de tu foto, imagino como seria en color, pero seguramente tiene mayor fuerza en blanco y negro.

Cuanta razon tienes, el agua, es realmente el elemento en torno al cual giran todas las especies y elementos que forman nuestro planeta, sin ella, ...

Que tengas el mejor de los Lunes!

What strikes me about this picture is the tone you gave it with the black and white. You pushed the shadows very dark and that makes for an impressive mood. Dark zones are very dark, almost pure black, which is rare with digital black/white which tend to have that bluish tone in it...
I like the light reflection in the water in the foreground. The scene is beautiful, very beautiful. But your post-treatment is really really impressive!
