Another phototograph taken from the apartment of my dear friend on the old town in Palma de Mallorca.
With a population of a third of a million, Palma de Mallorca is by far the biggest settlement in the Balearics, and a truly cosmopolitan city that makes few concessions to the tourist industry. If you had a list of desirable attributes for any destination, few ticks would be missing on Palma’s checksheet – a seaside location, a labyrinthine old town, notable architecture, restaurants and bars of character, stylish shops, galleries and museums – check out the new es Baluard museum of modern Spanish art. |
