[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi to everyone.

I’ve been a few days out of TE. The health has been the reason. The health of my internet connection, I mean. Only one minute after post my last photo, the connection fall down. Till today.

And well, I am here again.

With this photo I want continue my previous shot.
And also the story. (In the link you can see the photo and read the note for remember the story).

Today I would like explain you how we decided go to Berga (and believe me, this is story perhaps is not true).
It was a nice day in November. The first day of the month.
And the day before was the last day for Òscar for pay the rent of his room. And, as is usual, Òscar didn’t do.
Not only didn’t pay, neither thought pay.
His idea was be far, very far of his landlord because he would be waiting him with a strong bat for beat up him. He thought that being far of the landlord he would avoid this problem... fool!!!

But the story continues.
The place where he could go for escape of the landlord was Berga.
Inside the province of Barcelona, Berga is one of the most far from the city. And as a judge forbide Òscar leave the province, Berga was the best choice.
He leave his room by the window because the landlord was waiting him infront the door since the day before.
And if he didn’t want pay the rent, neither the travel until Berga. Then he invited to us, Sergio, Nieves (his wife) and me, to go to Berga.
He came with the pockets absolutly empty: he never could pay nothing.

The first time when he said that he “forget the money” was when a waitress bring to us the bill in a bar.
“No, I cannot pay. Sorry. I forget the money in my room”.
They were the magic words everywhere. In the bar, in the restaurant, in the gas station,... everywhere.

But Òscar never has been very clever.
He forget, and this time his mess was true, that his problem would remain in the same situation when he would came back.
He ask to Sergio, “man, could you take me until my home because I cannot pay any bus, taxi or metro”. And Sergio accepted. Sergio bring Òscar until his room and all of us could see how the landlord was waiting Òscar. Òscar didn’t see him until he arrived to his room. He was changing their clothes when the landlord entered in his room. Òscar, scared, jump naked through the same door for where he down until the street that same day.

That’s the story.

About the photo: you can see the Sanctuary of Queralt. The views from this place were beautiful. At the North beautiful fog. At the South beautiful fog. At the West beautiful fog.
And, it was the sourprise, at the East... beautiful fog.

I stopped a few seconds with the tripod and take this photo. Without the tripod this shot would not be possible. And was make a few meters before arrive until the top of the way to the Sanctuary.
Down there was a nice way or path that you can see also in my previous shot.

Also see an interesting detail: the door of the Sanctuary. Can you see a kind of big window in the wall of the Sanctuary? Really is the door and you can see in the the WS a shot take through this door and the glass.
Is still possible see some figures inside the Sanctuary, but most important: you can see the thief of cars at my left, and the fool contrabandist at my right. I am in center with the camara and the d-50 and the tripod.

I hope you like it.

(habrá nuevas entregas... Sergio, tiembla)

Hola Carlos,

Ola Carlos,
This is so mystical, full of mysterious thoughts. Interesting is that warm light and fog in the same time. Nice low POV.
About this story... it made me laughing so much, great background ti this shot, really, You can write a novel about it, or screenplay for a movie... I like spanish movies :)))

maki

Hi Carlos, amazing and powerfull shot with that great foggy light and the mystyerious mood!
excellent POV and great light capture.
thanks, ciao

Hola desaperecido

Saludos

Sergio

Espectacular uso d ela luz y las sombras! Buenísima!

Very interesting POV and framing, excellent light and colours.

TFS,

Andreea

You prove it is possible to take interesting photos in the fog. There is a very strange effect on the top left, but it is balanced somehow with the triangle of trees botton right. Interesting reflections in the WS too.

Hola rata.

Aleeeeeeeeeeee

The image have strange colors but it's full of mistic atmosphere, I like also the beautiful architecture of the tower, compliments.
Maybe a B&W version?
Ciao
Vinicio

Hey Carlos,

Great shot as expected from you. Potrayed great mood (great lighting and nice fog), good work capturing the main architecture in this foggy situation. The architecture is magnificent if I do not say so myself.

Sorry for not stopping by for some time, was kind of bz with work.

Anyway take care and Merry Christmas,
Jon

He,he,he, welcome back Carlos. Funny note and WS to go on with the "jokes" of Oscar and Sergio...
This is a very interesting shot, not only because of the POV and diagonal(s) of the composition, but also the misty atmosphere. The architecture is also impressive.
Regards,
Ricardo

Amazing photo, Carlos, reaching deeply into the realms of art. It looks like a dreamscene, with the mood created by the fog and colors, and the mysterious aspect of the people visible through the haze in front of the distinctive architecture. Good choice of the vertical format.

Hola Carlos!

Hi Carlos, this is a great picture. The mist makes this picture beautiful with its secret look. Great shot. Sothy

Hola Carlos,

Saludos
José

That's a great realization. The light capture is precise to create (I even would say design) atmosphere and mystery. The pov, with the this huge dark triangle, composes design. An arty shot.

Bonjour Carlos,

Wow j'adore cette photo... J'adore le brouillard et les couleurs..

Bravo !
Caroline !

hello:)

you were really lucky:) what a place and what a foggy day:) This fog makes this photo and perfect frame too:)

well taken

Ola Carlos,
What a nice photo of this place: This year, in Istanbul we had not fog till now, and the only day I had some I had to go somewhere by plane (!) The framing and the fog effect is splendid, though I am not too sure about the sepia tone, I would have like to see one which was not taken through the door: But perhaps I am misunderstanding and there was no fog at all. It just the glass effect !

Friendly yours - Izzet

Ciao/jr
