Photographer’s Note
This photo is from Lago Martianez.
The public complex of Costa Martiánez, pride of Puerto de la Cruz, is one of the most admired examples of man-made coastal transformation. Its artificial lake which contains some 27.000 m3 of sea water, highlights the rest of the pools, four for adults and three for children's use.
Many people prefer to go there and not to the beaches because of the big waves of Atlantic ocean. The complex is next to the sea and you can see from there the big waves flushing on the rocks. It's really big and as you can see from the photo, you haven't the feeling that your are in a swimming pool. People are enjoying their stay there just like the guy with the red swimsuit.
I leave the surprise for the end. The one with the red swimsuit is me!

it looks you had a great time there Ilia, i noticed that everyone is staring at you. it doesn't look like a swimpool to me either, very nice water colour!

To tell the truth I don't enjoy places like this very much but I like the timing, it gives this shot another dimension. And by the way, nice swimming trunks :-)

Nice image here.
Beautiful colors all around it. Nice capture of the man in the middle of his dive, too.
Well done!

Nice capture of action. It looks like you did a good job capturing the water as well. I think cropping a bit off of the top would be better because the buildings in the background keep catching my eye and they don't seem very attractive.
