I was passing a butcher shop in the local markek in Santiago, NW Spain, when I spotted this flattened pig's head hanging outside. "Staring" at me as it was, one half in shadow, I immediately thought of The Lord of the Flies.

Umm... this is really a great POV and subject, and your title adds so much. The fact that the pig has no eyes, is blind, and that he hangs there neither of earth or sky adds yet more intrigue to the Lord of the Flies theme.
