Photographer’s Note

Still continuing my holiday travelogue, we come to the night time and entertainment. The hotel we stayed at laid on entertainment every night and I must say, it was of a very good standard. The woman in the photo was part of a group called 'The Acrobatic Cats', fit, polished and entertaining.

I shot the photo using iso 1600 as I was too far away to use a flash and it would have been off-putting to the act.

ISO 1600 and no noise in sight. Fantastic clarity and sharpness. The light on the subject really makes her stand out against the black background. I'm sure this was a difficult shot to take. well done.

Hi Paul,
You've managed quite a good shot for a show like this. I can't believe ISO 1600 worked so well. You've also got no noise, which is really nice.
The cat woman is quite good at what she does.
