Photographer’s Note
On our holiday we were lucky enough to have a full moon. This shot was taken from our balcony after 1am. Our room couldn't have been better, the hotel we stayed at was built right on the beach front and we must have had one of the best positions, nothing ahead but sand and sea. Every morning and night, the first and last thing I did was go on the balcony and soak up the atmosphere.
Listening to Aubrey (rosaline), I made sure I packed a tripod for this type of shot. I couldn't take my Manfrotto as I had to leave enough weight in the luggage for my wife and daughters clothes so I went for a lighter Velbon I have.

Whoa, this is so mystical and serene. You have really captured a unique mood here.
Fabulous work with little light.

My goodness what a sight. The reflected moonlight is magical and romantic. What length was the exposure- just long enough for the hint of the palm tree.

Hello Paul
It's good that you decided to pack a tripod :) I know how hard is to persuade woman that photographic equipment is very important ;) Few words about the photo: simple and beautiful, you had a wonderful view from your room.
Take care, Wojtek
