The Mezquita in Cordoba, Andalucia, dates back as far as 784AD when construction began on the original mosque. The building has been adapted over the years, including conversion to a christian cathedral.

This photo details the Torre del Alminar which was originally the islamic minaret prior to conversion to a baroque bell tower.
