Photographer’s Note
Zahara de le Sierra is one of the best known of the "Pueblos Blancos" - a number of fortified white villages in the mountains of Andalucia. The village is set in dramatic scenery in the foothills of the Sierra de Grazalema and is towered over by the remains of the medieval fortifications.

A very interesting town. I bet it would be a blast to visit. I think this shot should have been a little wider-angeled to leave more of the scenery/nature around the buildings below and possibly on the sides to really show how it's nestled into the hill side. Your metering is great and colors are great too. Thanks for sharing Andrew!

Hi Andrew
Impressive. This scenery is almost unreal or surreal. Even the road cutting the hill in zigzag and adding so much to the background, was there to fulfil this photo. But most enigmatic for me are always those castles on the hills – who took all this up there?
Cheers

Hi Andrew,
This is a very good contrast between 3 parts: village, hill with fortress remains and the mountains behind. I escpecially like whiteness of all the houses - that makes them look like as one big structure.

Hi Andrew,
very good! The contrast between the bright village and the dark mountains in the background gives this shot a special atmosphere. Compared to the workshop pic, I prefer this one. The winding road on the mountainside is a very nice detail, well seen!
