The old town of Girona, this fine town in the North of Spain with roots back to the Roman Empire, a Sunday in May. A weekend where the whole old town is decorated as a part of a big flower exhibition. Thousands of people are crowding in the narrow streets.

But these two young ladies prefered the shadow in the entrance to one of the old houses not too engaged in the other activities. As I passed I did this shot, just as they spotted me aiming the camera to them. I liked their 'posing' and close contact and of course will appreciate your opinion.

nice portrait, well lit, great mood you have captured but I want some crop from left side and some glow to picture let me do some workshop please tell me you liked it or not.

Hi Jack
nice portrait here, great light and colors
regards
manuel

Hi Jack
A strong double portrait, you got a perfect interaction by eye contact whit no feeling of posing what so ever. Then the action between them radiates a marvellous extra of friendship no more, no less, all interpretations of this gesture will be in the mind of the viewer but the gesture on itself stays pure and intens. A double portrait indeed as each person has a very personal differant expression, no shyness but strong personalities.
Excellent framing with the left border as a stop of the diagonal of the stairway and one head in the coner half shadow and full light on the other creates a balanced eye-travelling from light to strong spot and back enhanced by the connecting gesture between them.
I enjoy this Jack, it prooves that you only have to dare and love people with your camera to get such a fine radiating shot. You discovered another discipline that will reward you as much as landscapes.
Thanks a lot.
Henk

Hi Jack,
A really nice double portrait. Very good POV, nice colours and perfect light. The expressions on their faces are so realistic that one should not think that they posed for this photo!

Sayan

Hello Jack,
As far as portraits go this is really sublime not only for its sharpness but because it manages to capture their relationship well.
Regards
Daniel

Great how much warmth and natural feel this double portrait radiates, Jack - I'm genuinely impressed with your recent entries in that genre. The setting with the upward stairs gives a good diagonal positioning of the two ladies relative to each other, and the soft light adds on to the pleasant and gentle atmosphere. Very nice.

Quite a departure for you here Jack, very touching senstive portrait you've managed here, did you engage them in conversation first?

Hi Jack

A very nice and cute double portrait of these charming ladies. Excellent POV, very fine colors and lighting. Nice work.

Ha, it's beautiful, Jack.
And I'm in a mood for portraits today..
I like their expressions, which are half-surprised, half bored.
The light and the background go great with their faces, and the sqate format is an excellet choice. congrats!

good portrait here, however the lady on the top seems to be very bored, but the light is good, well done

Hi Jack,
The lady on the right side think: O no, not again, a portrait hunting TE-member. Look at her hand and you see that she tries to warn her girl friend. But too late. The girl on the left thinks: Interesting guy. I guess it’s one of those handsome guys from Norway.

A well captured double portrait capturing the expressions of the people depicted.

The angles that the arms form is also an interesting component here.

Great Job.
