Se encuentra Jarandilla enclavada en el norte de la provincia de Cáceres (Extremadura).Situada a 585 m. sobre el nivel del mar en la ladera de la Sierra de Gredos, en un lugar privilegiado: el centro de la comarca de "La Vera".
Jarandilla ha sido desde los tiempos más remotos encrucijada de civilizaciones diversas. En su término pueden encontrarse numerosas muestras de un amplio legado cultural, monumental y arqueológico que os dan una idea de como esta población verata ha ido cambiando. Entre los pueblos que habitaron Jarandilla podemos encontrar a los celtíberos, romanos, visigodos, árabes hacia el siglo VIII.
Pero uno de los hechos más notables fue la llegada y estancia del Emperador Carlos I de España y V de Alemania. Llegó a Jarandilla el 11 de Noviembre de 1556 y se Hospedó en el Castillo de Los Condes de Oropesa.
Jarandilla is situated in the north of the province of Cáceres, 585 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Sierra de Gredos, in the center of La Vera estate.
Jarandilla always has been a place of crossing of cultures and civilizations, amongst them the Celts Iberians, Romans, Visigoths and Arabs to the VIII century.
The noblest event in the history of Jarandilla was the arrival of Charles I of Spain and V of Germany who entertained in the castle of Los Condes de Oropesa.

Stunning colours and a very good catch of the early morning light in the olivetrees and in the little dunes of sand giving it a golden glow.
