Another shot from the performance "No oblidem" (We don't forget) by Veu en Off, against the war.

I specially like this shot, how the light is compressed and lightning only the head of the actress, with that projection on the background, and her shade on it.

For this serie of shots I used Fuji Superia Film, ISO 800 forced into 1600, as well as a very lightning focus. I didn't want to use the flash for letting the play of lights be like they were and the proyections clear enough. As well in the performance there was people moving (specially the dancer) and other static, so I tried to catch everything at the same time.

Hi Sonia,
Very well composed! With the shadow you go over the simple juxtaposition of two pictures. This underlines a dramatic effect and create a link between the present and the past. Well done! Christophe

Hi Sonia,

very nice. I wonder why you kept it in color. I would think that the red is a bit of a mood kilelr for this very sombre shot. In b/w you wouldnt have that. I really love the compo. The shadow falling on the screen of the barbed wire, very menacing and very sad shot. Thats why the red and the skin tones should go.

Hola Sonia.

Saludos
Sergio

Hello Sonia,

I agree with Rafal here, This would look great in B/W, However I like the original composition, the Light and shadow, the two part of the frame is a great capture.

Hi Sonia - very sombre and moody, the grain works well. I'm happy with the colour. We don't forget but we still let it happen, Schindler's List didn't help Rwanda, and this performance won't help Darfur.

I like this one a lot. The grapism here is evident. taking photos of theatrical productions is challenging and fun. You do good work here.

Hello, Sonia!
Very frightening image on the screen..., well composed with the actress on the foreground. Good idea and execution!
regards,
Greg
