To day i present this painter doing her work at Port Vell in Barcelona.
Many stops to look at her works, and as you can see she paints landscape and houses from the Mediterranean area.
As being here in Barcelona probably some Catalan houses.

By the way did you know that Catalunia includes areas and peoples from both side of the border between Spain and France (in the east part of their border)?
Interesting to see many buildings in this part of Spain and France always have the Catalan flag along with the respective national flag. And the Catalan language is spoken both in Spain and France.

Tech: Shot in the late afternoon contributes to the colours.

A very lively colorful capture, Jack. I like how you staged this one, putting the viewer in a position to view a work in progress, as well as being able to look across the shoulders of the folks viewing the "gallery". Nice choice of angle as well. And I appreciate the information about the Catalan language: hadn't been aware of it being spoken outside Spain.

Of course, that's another one to go directly into my "artists at work" theme.

Good shot, Jack. The colours in the paintings are beautiful. Well captured.

Perfect clear pic. You have chosen the right exposition time on soft daily light. I like your point of view, your shooting it does not matter to nobody. The colours are extraordinarily heterogeneous.

I guess you are specialising yourself in taking pictures of painters. In this one may be I would have cropped it a bit.

Nice composition again, Jack. I like how (i.e. where) you place your main subject.
Here one's glance constantly tries to compare the picture being painted and those being sold.

Those paintings on the wall, are they hers too?

Voila un bel angle de présentation avec un peintre planchant sur sons oeuvre et oubliant ce qui l’entoure.
Je trouve que cette image avec tous les tableaux au final ne donne qu'une seule oeuvre !!Votre composition
Bravo Jack

Interesting series that you are presenting us Jack. This a good photograph. Every element of this shot are crisp and vivid. The sharpness is well done and so are the colors.
It's real nice that we can see the artists work, it creates a sense of capture of moment.

Fantastic colors you captured Jack and I like the attitude of the spectators - Very well spotted.

The painter seems invades by the inspiration looking like some of us absorbed by the grip of an image. I like this intensity and the lovers of the art who look as well as the colours of your whole photo.
Le peintre semble envahit par l'inspiration ressemblant à certains d'entre nous absorbés par la prise d'une image. J'aime cette intensité et les amoureux de l'art qui regardent ainsi que les couleurs de l'ensemble de votre photo.

A nice daily life photo with interesting elements. Could be a bit more sharp.

One thing that would work great here is the BW/color technique. For example all BW and the painter and painting in color, or all BW except the paintings...

In Basque country in the north of the pirinneus the same thing happens that in catalunia. They are Nations withou a state in Anthropology terms.

I like the way the blue of the sky on the painting matches the woman's shirt.

This is a very colorful shot, full of crisp details. The artist seems so absorb by his work that he is oblivious of the potential customers...

I also like the way, the persons are looking at one of the painting. Too bad, we can't see it :(

As usual this a nice photo. Well done.
