Photographer’s Note

“End of a dream” is the title of the most powerful, plenty of action and energic music composed for a film. Goldsmith, Jerry Goldsmith, is the composer; the film, “Total Recall”.

I’ve posted a few photos of the last day that I was in Quintanilla del Coco this summer.
The summer has end. And the time goes by.
Season after season, the times always goes by. And after all, what we have? We still have friends and memories. That’s what the time left to us.
In someway, that’s what I mean with the photo. The last day in Quintanilla del Coco, the last games, the last rays of the Sun,... and now only left memories.

Also, with the end of the summer, we lost the light of this hot season. And I miss that light.
In these short days I miss the light of the summer.

Well, perhaps someone could think “what’s the matter with Quintanilla del Coco?” or “why so many photos of this place?”. It’s true. They are good questions. And I love this place.
But let me answer not this two questions, let me answer another even better.

What can you find in Quintanilla del Coco?
NOTHING.

That’s why is great. It’s difficult understand, but try to imagine that you are in one place where you don’t need nothing for enjoy and spent your time.
And now only answer me one question. When has been the last time that you has seen stars in the sky?

Now the days are more shorts. We have miss the light of the summer... I don’t know if there’s somewhere where the dreams come true... Really I don’t believe, but today a new dream can began... ¡Qué emoción!
(This last paragraph is hard to understand... sorry, but I only know what I mean)

I think I know what you mean Carlos; you left your heart in Quintanilla del Coco. There are places where we all feel something similar, but we can't really explain why. It's nothing to do with bricks and mortar, or even trees and fields, but the atmosphere of a place, given to it by the people we meet there and the good times we have.
This is a good image to have for your memories. The silhouette is maybe a symbol for you. The sky is amazing and performs its role in your dream. Never stop dreaming.

Very beautiful sky colors and POV!
And the note is interesting too. I can really feel that you love this place.
One think I would have tried is to use a little slower sutter speed to catch the movement of the rope.

Unos dias que me descuido y cuelgas varias fotos, bien siempre me gusta ver cosas nuevas.
Esta foto me gusta mucho y lo que más me gusta son las pedazos de notas que escribes sin ellas no sería lo mismo.

Hay que el carlitos se nos hecha novia hoy mismo... ¡qué emoción! pero (sin ofender) el aumentativo de los mono y bisílabos en inglés se hace con el sufijo -er, como por ejemplo "shorter"... Si, call me borde, pero es de coña. Nada, todo esto por decir algo porque la foto me parece chula, como para dejarse llevar y disfrutar. Por cierto, el miércoles que viene me voy a rodar una cosa a Burgos, pero no sé exactamente a donde... Mira que si es Quintanilla del Coco. Bueno chavalín, una foto intensa, muy bonita. (Y de nuevo perdón por la pedantería del inglés).

Hola Carlos, Esta foto me llamo la atencion desde el otro dia. Los colores estan saturados, como a mi me gusta. El cielo se ve muy dramatico con esas nubes todas y la silueta con mucha definicion. Resultado: impactante.

Solo me quedo la duda que es lo que estaba haciendo la persona fotografiada. jejeje.

Esta foto me recuerda algo en su estilo a una de las primeras (maybe the first one) de las tuyas a la que le escribí una crítica. Esa era de la silueta del cementerio contra un cielo tan magnífico cómo éste. Esta foto aún me gusta más. La figura humana aunque no se sepa si es hombre o mujer nos resulta siempre más agradable de ver que las tapias de un cementerio. Yo también, cómo algunos, quiero saber que está haciendo él/ella. ¿Estará (as Miguel said) echándole el lazo a alguien ?

Carlos, excelente dramatizacion en esta fotografia. El tema que das a manifestar tiene un tema increible para la vida diaria. Me gusta bastante los tonos azules del cielo y sobretodo la silueta de la persona retratada.

La silueta en la fotografia pienso que no es del todo accesible para armar una buena composicion, pero vos aca realizaste un trabajo excepcional. Un juego de colores y reflejas mucha energia en el movimiento de este individuo.

sobre la foto, decirte que has capturado un cielo impresionante que va de maravilla para la silueta del chico con la cuerda. Lo cogiste en el angulo perfecto, creando una composición muy equilibrada. Te felicito!
Me ha gustado leer la nota, la luz, el tiempo, lo que queda... da que pensar.
PD1: Veo que no paras, a este paso llegarás a los 10.000 puntos antes de Navidad!
PD2: Llevo días sin pisar TE... la causa... se me ha muerto el PC, bueno, el HD se ha suicidado y creo que hay para días... a ver si me pueden recuperar el disco duro! cruzo los dedos! Ahora estoy en mi pueblo, des de el PC de mi padre (mi ex-pc)

Esa foto es estupenda Coco, me encanta ese tipo de tratamiento de la imagen y me parece que lograste hacerlo muy bien. El cielo es de locura y entiendo muy bien el sentido de tu nota. A veces hay lugares que no necesitan tener algo especial en termino de monumentos, iglesias, etc... Hay une atmosfera que te hace sentir feliz. Gracias por esta bonita foto.

....You ask when did I see the stars in the sky? Ten minutes ago... when I went out for a little walk with my dog!! In a little village there are many stars, expecially in a cold night like today! I enjoy to live in a village and to have a car to go to the town where are concerts and movies and shops!
