Photographer’s Note

Some minutes before I took this other view I took this picture of the basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar in Zaragoza.
This are actually two pictures. In one of them the details of the church were clear but the sky appeared too white. In the other one the sky had a beautiful red colour but the church was only a silhoutte. I tried to get the best of both pictures with a tecnique that can be applied in several ocassions when you have part of your photo in the shade and part under the sun.
1- Make two layers of the same picture with both views
2- Create a layer mask for the darker one
3- Copy the image inside the layer mask
4- Apply Gaussian blur (40 pix) to it

I have also taken into consideration some of your critiques to the previous picture croping less reflection and cloning out the cranes in the skyline.

More about this church. Many people in Spain and Latin America are devoted to Our Lady of the Pillar and the name Maria del Pilar (and its short versions: Pilar, Mari Pili, Pili, Piluca...) is a very common name.
Festivity is on the 12th of October. On the same day is the celebration of America's discovery and the National Day of Spain.
The river you see is the Ebro. It is 920 km long and with them the river that flows longer in Spain however the longest Spanish river is the Tajo which flows into Portugal (Tejo). The Ebro is the plentifuliest river of the Iberian peninsula.
