[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Flying to Tenerife from Bologna, we flew along the north mediterranean coast. In this picture the plane is flying south-west, passing south of the Gibraltar Strait. We were actually above Morocco. Up on the right corner you can see the Gibraltar Rock and port; lower, right near the window frame, is Ceuta, the Spain's enclave in Africa.

Technical: the polarizer made funny colours with the plastics of the window, so I avoided it. In postprocessing I increased contrast in several ways, including a gradual alpha-mask to increase the contrast on the upper part of the picture without exceeding in the lower part.

questa è una imagine che ho visto non so tantissime volte. Ho fatto il viaggio Madrid-Casablanco almeno trenta volte ma non sono riuscito mai a fare questa foto. Grazie Marko per partaggiare la foto (ed escussa il mio italiano).

Great view of the famous place, separating the european continent of the african one by only a few kilometers. In-flight photos are great. Bravo.
