[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The summer passed. Some trees could survive this year but not all of them were so lucky. This was a very bad year for Portugal and Spain. Up to middle of August more than 130'000 hectares in Portugal and over 100'000 in Spain burned. Thousands, maybe millions, of trees killed. The jointly surface is almost as much as the surface of land in Rhode Island, without counting the water (270'000 ha.) or the total surface of Luxembourg (250'000 ha.). Very sad for the old Iberian peninsula.
We must add to the fire the prolonged drought. See the effect on this reservoir. What is the future we can expect ?

Yes, the burned trees create a very sad view. Especially because it looks like a very nice place here with the hills and the little lake.
The photo is very good, good colours and clarity. Well done.

Me gusta la toma: la horizontalidad del plano y todos los detalles del campo y del bosque. Lástima del cielo tan "neutro". Igualmente, me gusta mucho y, por desgracia, nota a recordar.

Buena vista paisajística general, el toque del agua, aunque muy poca, es el pequeño camino para la reconstrucción de todo este paisaje, esperemos que no nos falte! La fina linea de nubes en medio del cielo también dan esperanza, cuando crezcan, ns darán lo que más necesitams ahora, que crezcan ya!!!
Muy buena refleión a través de tu foto, perfectamente puedes añadir el tema del agua, veo este lago o pantano, que está bajo mínimos, por lo que vemos, la naturaleza se está tomando la ley por su cuenta y no nos perdona nuestro comportamiento.

REcuerdo ese lago/pantano mucho más lleno, y de un azul muy curioso, además tengo un recuerdo personal muy bueno asociado tanto a él como al Monasterio de Piedra. Me gusta mucho el formato panorámico que has elegido. Es una foto muy lograda, especialmente para acompañar a la nota que has escrito. Parece que hoy está lloviendo en Andalucía y Extremadura, yo cruzo los dedos para que el agua llegue aquí también.
