Hi Colin,
I can't go to sleep before write a critique to this shot. Why?... just folow reading: I have been living in Barcelona since 19 years ago, and I have always liked this idea, I have always wanted to make a photo similar of the Park Güell, but I have still not done it, at the moment.
The idea is perfect, the blurred background increases the beauty of the main motive, the ceramic of Gaudí. Very good DOF, but I think a little more deep would it be better.
Was it done because of your own artistic eye or did you see a similar view in some tourist guide? I ask you that because, not often but sometimes, if I see a shot that I like much, of a place that I am going to visit, when I'm there I try to do a photo that remember or looks like the one that I have seen before.
If someday I do a similar one and I like it (who knows) I will post it here in TE as you did today.
Best regards.
Jaume

Hi Colin.
This is a fantastic idea. Not the typical Gaudi's photos and also technically superb. Ah, and very original.
Regards since Barcelona.
