Photographer’s Note

If I'm not wrong, this is a street in the Barrio Gótico in Barcelona. As I mentioned in my yesterday's post, it is possible to see how the buildings in this city are all built wall against wall, leaving no free space in between.
Normal people shopping on the streets.
PP a little in PS to resemble the original slide.

Me gusta mucho los detalles arquitectonicos de la calle y la gente que pasa en ella. Haber esperado a que la gente se haya acercado le habria dado un punto mas especifico para enfocar la foto.

No points up till now for this very good composition? That must change. I like this picture very much. The sharp contrast between the facade on the left and on the right and all that people walking in the street. I like it that they are not to sharp.

It's a nice street scene. The curve of the road creates a sweeping feel as the lines flow smoothly into the distance. The relaxed atmosphere of it all, especially the couple at center, creates the feel of taking an evening stroll in this quarter of town. It probably would be better a bit sharper. And I also was looking at cropping out the sky completely which would also have the railings meet the upper right corner. But the composition is good like this, too. The other is just another possibility. Nicely taken.
