Photographer’s Note

I wanted to capture the forms only, not the surrounding; i was interested in the parts more than the building itself. The use of the B&W was a specific choice to improve the effect of the cloudy sky.

I gree that the abstract shapes here makefor a very interesting image. However I think you maybe could have concentrated on the shapes more by not having so much sky in the picture. As the sky is just bright white I dont think it adds anything and would crop most of it away.

Yeah, you wanted the forms, no the building.
But I would prefer not cut the building as you has done.
Anyway, not only interesting: fantastic here the way as you has used the black and white.

This is the Guggenheim museum isn't it? Great curves and nice composition. A bit blown in the sky. You might want to try a gradual neutral density filter to avoid that. Regards, Huub
