Still in Ayamonte. In the note of my previous pic I mentioned cement carting workers. Well, here they are. They are battling the steeply graded street with their wheel barrows to bring cement from a giant mixer parked on a crossroad some 25 m higher up the road. And really stood out in the otherwise almost empty streets. Especially the youngest had to put in a lot of effort to handle the load in the sticky mixture of sand and cement.

Ley de Gravedad (Gravity law) is a song from the Spanish neo-flamengo-hiphop ensemble ‘Ojos de Brujo’ from their 2002 ‘Bari’ album.

PCS tech: While PP-ing this pic I was faced with xtreme contrast and opted for a approach in which the workers stand out and are almost isolated from their surroundings. Corrected for perspective distortion, cropped; contrast, curves & saturation adjusted; altered the exposure of assorted elements; USM-ed; frame added and saved for the web.

Hi bert,
very strong composition.People have been balance well in your frame. Their position depicts hard work done by them to level the surface for commutors.

Thanks

Quite a job, I'm saying while seated behind my desk ;-)
(well,I had a very strong head wind, en een aanlopend voorwiel, iets met de lagers, ben ook moe;-) Very steep streets indeed, and it must be a hell of a job in those temepratures. Well saturated almost neon colors, for the ppurple, I need my sun glasses.
I think you did an excellent job with the light here.

HI Bert,
Great action shot, I like that one guy is coming and the other is going thus giving dynamism to the photo. I also like the tilt on the stairs and the colourful houses.
Well done
Daniel

Good photo. The colours, the composition, the light,... A good photo.
Could be better if we could hear this mean saying "ozú"... But now it is not possible. Then, a good photo.

Saludos desde España.

A very well-framed daily life photo, Bert. Excellent timing to have the two guys with the carts at the very position they are, and nice rhythmic element provided by the colorful houses in the back. The strong sun was very well handled in terms of exposure. Well done.

Hi Bert
Nice picture of daily life.
The light is great and the composition perfect here.
Well done.
Bertrand

Goedemorgen Bert,

Mooi gedaan Bert

Fantastic light and colours. No - superb!
A simple scene but done with perfection.
