I took a lot of photos of the style of women in Barcelona and this is one of my favourites. Only steps away from the Museu Picasso in the El Born part of Barcelona, this woman was so uber chic that I had to take a few shots of her surreptitiously from the other side of the street.
I couldn't hear what she was saying, nor would I have understood it as I don't understand Catalan, so I just used my imagination based on the angle of her head, the hand on her hip and the uncomfortable not-making-eye-contact expression on his face. Enjoy ;)
[I do wish that pole was not in the foreground, but there was really nothing I could do about it if I wanted to capture these two in this moment... ah well, such is street photography]

Quite a funny picture, in many ways. Also a well composed picture where actually the poles add a side of a triangle. The line along the pavement is another and the persons (in negotiations?) are the third line. Good colours too.

I don't think I could look her in the eye either. Not while there's so much else to look at! He seems to find the wall very interesting. Good work: quick and funny.

lol for the creative title. i guess you were only kidding about the über chicness of that chick (pun intended, look at that hair). yes, her body language is terrifying, i am happy you ended that photo session without any injuries.

They don't seem to have the same fashion shop and even the same idea: he seems bored and looks at the wall while she is arguing, trying to convince him.
The pole in front of him is not welcome, but as you say, street photography is mainly a glimpse of a situation and you have not much time to change your POV: taking the picture or not is the question, so you have well answered!

He does look quite uncomfortable in this scene, and this girl does look like she is demanding an answer to an uncomfortable question! She reminds me of the singer Pink quite a big. Excellent candid shot.
Her fingers are really long too!

How have you been? I sure hope this guy didn't answer that question...from a guys perspective, is there truly a correct answer? :) Poor guy looks like he's already been verbally assaulted, with that slight slump in his stance and stare off to the right. Judging by those nails of hers, I certainly want to give the wrong response!? And by that, I mean the one that actually comes to mind and not the one I would give in fear! lol
Is that really a dress anyway, or a tube top placed around the waist instead of up top?? Another terrific image which lets the imagination run free, I love your awareness of the streets! Quick thinking to grab this shot, I hope you didn't enrage her any further. ;)
Enjoy the day ahead. Take it easy.

Some attitude going on here, well spotted of these two people having a word with each other, body language plays a big part in our life hey, some use it more than others.
Tfs, great to see.

Hi kristin. As well observed and photographed. The photographic capture of people is something very special. You have perfectly photographed this cute scene - everything else is unimportant. Men and women really are an inexhaustible topic. I like the photo because it is very realistic.
