Photographer's Note

Another shot of Casa Milà (La Pedrera) in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Spains second largest city with a metropolitan population of over 5 million (although the city proper only has about 1.5 million people). It was a difficult shot to get without the near constant tourist crowds, confined to a small area on the rooftop of this quirky building designed by Gaudi. The bg chimney design can also be seen within the main facade of Sagrada Familia, the huge cathedral that Gaudi is better known for.
