Photographer's Note

Cadiz is a port city in southwestern Spain. The main structure seen is Cadiz Cathedral, which is a Roman Catholic Church, built after 1722 taking about 116 years to construct. I explored the structure, even explored the deeper crypt beneath the church through a downward passage way, near the inside center of the church. The church contains many wonderful paintings. As with many churches in southern Europe it was artistically wonderful. People put their hearts into their work reflecting a very rare and precious form of devoted faith. It is hard to image a life devoted to such perfection but it is for us today, indeed for me, to witness first hand this inspired testament of creativity and love.

There is much power found in the hands that create such things.
