Last days, last years our life is like stepping up stairs, economy and life is harder...but stay with good humour, enjoy every day and everything will be better...The title is a tribute to this famous Dire Straits song...that bring some joy!!!

Hello Manuel,

Yes, Life is all about walking up the stair one step at a time. We still have a long way to go. But we cannot see what waits at the top if there really is a top. The image presented here reminds me of my grand father who was a champion of "Goh" game. The game takes days, sometimes weeks to finish. Like this man climbing the stairs. In the middle of all the horizontal line, steps, he alone stands vertical and walking towards the top. In the game of "Goh" there are only white stones and the black one on a grid. It is very simple in setup. But the simplicity is very complicated to achieve. And indeed some people spend their life moving and placing the two-tone stones on the grid. This image can invite many interpretations. Like my grand father, he kept climbing to the top. I still wonder what he thought at the top. I will never know.

Hello Manuel,

It is better that I do not sing, the sparrows will fall from the roof.

The geometrical composition and the horizontal lines creates a nice depth in the picture and make it also nice calmness.
The very good light/exposure makes the picture complete....Well done.

This is a great presentation. I like the graphism, the repetitive lines, the perfect placement of the lone man. It is interesting that he is standing on the one step that has no grass beside it. The mood of this photo goes perfectly with your note, too.

Buena composición, buen comentario (a pesar de que algunos tengamos que usar el traductor para entenderlo)

Las escaleras son como la vida misma, unas veces para arriba y otras para abajo, y no siempre cansan mas las que suben si el final del camino recompensan el trayecto.

Soberbia y original composicion, con este bonito efecto de franjas horizontales, buena simbologia con los dificiles tiempos actuales, el hombre nos representaria a todos nosotros subiendo los dificiles peldaños de la vida actual.
Un buen trabajo Manuel, me gusta tambien el grafismo que aporta esta imagen, buena idea tambien este marco en los horizontales, realza mas la imagen.
