Photographer's Note

Bridge on the river Ebro, constructed inside the works of the freeway of Navarre. It was constructed in 1978 for J. Manterola and L. Fernández Troyano. In him there takes place the effective union of prestressed concrete that allows the engineer to predesign his capacity before designing it, and the steel. The vain principal one is 146 m. of light and the length of 204 meters and an entire width of 29 meters. They exist vain secondary of 32 and 35 meters in the margin left side of the river Ebro. The board is constituted by a booth of 2 meters of singing and 29 of breadth. It was constructed with dovelas prefabricated of 3,40 meters long and 120 Tm. of weight, using the skill of " advance in projecting " (Advancing in projecting successive). It is sustained from his median with 35 pairs of cables twins. These cables are anchored to a tower of 71 meters high on the board, established to 40 meters deep and atirantada for two systems of cables to sendos counterweights of cables of 2.400 m. of prestressed concrete.
