Photographer’s Note

Although this photo is quite simple in its composition, it contains several elements typical for the Canary Islands : the volcanic rock; two succulent plants that are endemic to the Canary Islands and often live in community : Euphorbia Canariensis (the standing pillars) and Kleinia Neriifolia; the cloudy sky; and the wide open Atlantic ocean.

C'est aéré ! Ouvert sur le grand large , qui semble calme à ce moment . Composition sobre et efficace , son esthétique est évidente .

Bonjour Paul ,
J'aurais sans doute aimé en voir un peu plus de la côte de Tijarafe , mais ton choix , pour nous montere l'appel du large , est très interessant . Un ciel un peu brouillé , et une mer ridée , complète la composition , où les euphorbes bien éclairés sont un point d'accoche évident .

J aime bien la composition de cette photo avec une belle ouverture sur l ocean qui justifie pleinement le titre.
Cette etendue et bien mise en contraste avec le coin gauche montrant un bout de sol aride suggéré par les cactus.
La photo a un point de vue original qui fonctionne bien.
