Photographer’s Note

A fine example of Gothic Catalan-Aragonese architecture from the 14th and 15th centuries. It is an essentially horizontal structure, short in height yet simple, solid and austere, with withered openings in its exterior.
It has two gates, one leading to the Plaza de la Constitución and the other to the Aposteles. In 1499 the building was promoted to the status of “Colegiata” or “Col·legiata” in Valencian. In 1931 it was declared a National Historical Monument.
