Photographer’s Note

Benidorm formally has a permanent population of 70.280 inhabitants (INE 2008). Other 50,000-65.000 residents have never been registered at the Registry Office (El Padrón Municipal de Habitantes). The population exceeds 550,000 in the summer season.
This photo was taken at midday, 31st January. A storm in Benidorm, like this one, is very unusual occurrence.

Very nice atmosphere.
The dark heavy clouds do not look like it is Spanish coast.
Long shadows in spite being midday but it is January so they may be long yet even in the midday.
The light is very interesting.

It seems that this piece of coast is covered with concrete.
The promenade though looks nice and I see it is popular mainly among older people.

Has passed 2 or 3 years since I went to Benidorm. It is really a very nice place with lovely beaches, Once more thanks for sharing.

Caro Mario

Belo contraste entre o céu carregado e as sombras.
Também ficou agradável aos olhos a profusão de detalhes presentes na composição.
Para mim, que vivo no hemisfério sul, fica estranho uma sombra longa, como essa da foto, ao meio dia em pleno Janeiro.

Technical a very good picture, through the perspective and depth.

na cena aparecem muitos velhos, algo não muito comum em praias daqui, a excessão de copacabana, bairro de aposentados. muito bonita a luz e a tempestade chegando, gosto dos personagens na cena, belo pov e enquadramento
