I like dusk. The weak light after the sun has set creates sometimes the most interesting colours. And if you have a tripod and the time to try out a few settings, you can achieve impressions that are just not there in the daytime. This is just a view from a (ground floor) hotel balcony, so i didn't have much choice of subject, but the palmtrees and the light on the tennis court and the evening sky somehow seemed enough. So I tried it.
Resized and sharpened for the web.

Nice composition in a finishing sunset in a little urbain place also with lights of the night!
It's really a great photo in these conditions, good contrast with clear result in this situation.
Good work and the best to you! Also Congratulations for this shot!

Hi Per. I fully agree with you about the photographic potential that this time of day carries, and it's nice to see you making good use of it here. And it's interesting indeed how a view that might come across as mundane during daytime is made so delicate-looking by the early evening illuminations and the remaining colors in the sky. Looks like a place I'd much rather be now than in cold central Europe.

Interesting colors and effect whith the lights.
I like the framing and the tones in the sky. There is also a superb green at right on a palm tree.

street lights make nice stars in the pretty blue sky.
