[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the Kursaal building taken from María Cristina Bridge. The Kursaal, by architect Rafael Moneo, is a very modern congress palace and auditorium by the sea. It's composed of two cubes (in the photo, only one of them) of leaning lines. The surface is made up of translucent glass panels. In the photo, more buildings by the river Urumea and Zurriola bridge.
In the foreground, one of the figures which decorate the streetlamps on the picturesque María Cristina Bridge, built in 1904.

I wasn't sure whether to post this photo or not. My point and shoot camera couldn't focus foreground and background simultaneously, which produced a strange result. Anyway I liked the image enough to try different ways and take different shots. Finally, I combined a photo of the foreground and one of the background.
The background needed very little processing, but I had to be careful with the figure as it became very noisy with sharpening.
And as it's really lunch time, I leave you with the photo. I hope you like it.
Thanks for your comments.

hi
very funny seen!

Belíssima imagem. Pena não se ver a cabaça completa deste animal fantástico. Mas mesmo assim é muito interessante. Para além da peça do Moneo, boa como sempre.
Um abraço
Joaquim
