[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last day of september, last days of the summer (yes, here it is happily longer), last day of a traditional work travel that has taken place in the last 14 years, and every one of them facing the fact that the last days could truly be the last there, almost for this wonderful work reason.
There is people that hates to travel by work. It´s not my case. Three hours somewhere is much better than nothing and I always say that is worthy to fly 14 hours to see a moment like the one of this photo and then comeback home.
This is the city of San Sebastian or Dononia in Basque lenguage. For me the most beautifull place in the north of this part of Europe, whit the magic bay of La Concha that you can see in this photo. Sometimes the sea is quite brave and the waves get into some of the streets of the city, once a year there is a film festival quite interesting and Al Pacino, Penelope Cruz or Emma Thompson come to town and people get mad about it.
San Sebastian, Donostia... Call it as you wish, enjoy it as what it is: A treasure of mankind.

So many superb sunsets and dawns get posted at TE, but this one really is a stand out among them.

What is the beam of light in the center of the shot? A rainbow? A sunbeam? Even if only a camera reflection, it really is gorgeous.

Hola Miguel.

Parece que la foto tenga un poco de ruido, pero no es un problema serio. Mejor es la sensación que da la foto, con esa poca gente en la playa y ese tiempo que atrapa a la gente.
Viendo esto, ¿quien no iría a San Sebastián?

Mar, montaña, atardecer y buen cielo, con arco iris incluido. Estupenda combinación para hacer una foto hermosa por sus colores, sus formas, su luz y sus sombras. Las figuritas humanas evocan las dimensiones de la bahía de esta hermosa ciudad que tanto te inspira. Original puesta de sol. Me gusta mucho. Beso,

Hay un poco ruido, pero los colores son maraviosas. Tambien tengo que decir que estoy de acuerdo contigo que San Sebastian es un sitio muy bello del norte de Espana.

Hola Miguel, this is a lovely sunset that indeed stands out amomgst the many others. I like that lovely plethora of warm hues here and the sprinkling of red. Very nice work!
I must admit that I didn't know this festival with its famous patrons. Thanx.
