So near to the noise, hurries and stress, but so far from them. In the capital of Spain, you can find all kind of people: with different clothes, from different procedures and also with so different ways of life. This man was seated on a uncomfortable urban block made of metal thought to separate the traffic of the centre of Madrid from the pedestrians. He was working on small wooden figures with his hands. Calmed, concentrated on his little sculpture, so near to the sourrounding crowd but so far from them. When finishing, without standing up, just raising the head he attracted the crowd’s attention and sells the figures.
