Photographer's Note
I spent just one night in Madrid, wandering the streets at night, so much action, so much life. Madrid is a city that thrives after dark, especially ona warm night like the one I was there on. I cannot recall what building this is, but it was one of just two photo's I took on an old 35mm film camera in Madrid 10 years ago. I recently only got this film developed, I thought the film would be damaged beyond repair, but a couple of shots came out. There was some wear and damage, but sometimes old film gives surprising results too.

Hi Justin,
I am so excited with this photo. 1st it has so much photogravue feel to it. And you developed a film after keeping it for 10 years!!! There is so much mystery, so much uncertainty, and then the surprising result. I'm sure the entire process itself brings you lots of joy!
Cheers, chan

this is an underrated "neo" vision of that city... and i like it - for its grain, for its tight framing and crop, for its "unveiled" story....
