Photographer’s Note

HI PAULA,
very nice capture of this corridor. I saw one photo on this type of corridor and the TE Member took the picture from floor level. Maybe you might want to try that out sometime and see its effect here.
Great composition here with well balanced colours nicely captured! well done

Hola, Paula.

Rafa.

Hi Maria and be welcome here on TE.
Nice introduction as i read your profile intro, i see you have a good eye, a graphical one and this was for sure a good idea to shoot that huuuge perspective that was offered to you in this palacio de Aranjuez .. without a soul on this frame.
Technically correct, i think you could gain "power" in post production by adding some more contrasts and a little bit saturation ... perhaps also a little bit more sharpness.
Post production is really important in photographic process and your shot would have been greater with a little bit more effort in that aspect.
Anyway the picture is really nice and for sure i would have shot some pictures from that POV too !

Fantastic geometry/perspective. I also like the soft contrast, while the sharpness could be stronger, maybe. Again, the geometry of the shadows on the ceiling is simply wonderful: to every bright triangle corresponds a dark triangle with exchanging high/lowlights, really hypnotizing. You catched a particular light that works greatly.
