Photographer’s Note

What happens when you pour paint onto the water?
Depending on the binder and the vehicle (solvent) it will dissolve or it will draw stubbornly onto the surface of the water.
Taken at Bouzas port, which used to be a fishing port and nowadays it's mostly a recreational one with the decay of the fishing industries. It was my first time with this camera :-) This was shot at .jpg; I was still trying to decipher if shooting RAW was useful. Now I know it is.

PP: cropping, slight curves adjustment, saturation +7; slight unsharp mask.

Hola Inés:
He estado unos días sin entrar en tu galería y me encuentro con esta sugerente imagen. Muchas veces lo reflejado transmite mucho más que lo que se refleja. Muy adecuados también el título y la nota ya que esta foto tiene ese carácter etéreo de la acuarela y me recuerda mi desastrosa etapa en este arte. Buen trabajo

Aquí estoy de nuevo. Se me ha olvidado comentarte, el "workshop" muy bueno, gana muchísimo la foto. Muchísimas gracias.
En cuanto a tu foto muy bonita, me encantan esos reflejos (por cierto no he llegado a saber de que son). Sabes, esta foto me recuerda mucho a algunas del miembro de TE Phil Faros "Faros".
Bueno hermosa, espero que hoy no tengas que corregir exámenes y sino un diez para todos y listo.

¿ya has empaquetado a los chavales a sus casas? jejejejeje, porque leyendo tu respuesta a Mirari (qué se le va a hacer, uno es marujo), daba la sensación que hacíais la celebración de Navidad y ala cada mochuelo a su olivo!! ................;-) ( es broma ehhh, no te mosquees).Ya me callo, paso a comentar esta foto que me llama mucho la atención,
el título me parece genial, creativo y digno de un momento de lucidez, es fabuloso. Creo que son los reflejos de los mástiles ¿verdad?. Gran contraste de colores!!
Realizar una fotografía a partir de los reflejos de la realidad es un trabajo artístico importante, y tu Inés lo realizaste muy bien.

I'm on a roll here, had to comment as I find the upper portion a bit distracting and think that if you had cropped out the top section and left the squiggly lines that really would have just ben to much to pass by and not have a very good look to guess what on earth it was I was looking at. Yeh a third critic amazing its Xmas soon

Pero que alguien le diga a ese pintor que va perdiendo la pintura!!!

Esta muy bien vista y muy bien captada. El efecto de estos reflejos sobre el agua parece que sea pintura al oleo que se ha escapado del tubo.

Puro grafismo...pero del bueno.
