Photographer’s Note

Leaving the foggy harbour at sunset, this ship faces the adventure of sailing the Atlantic. Crossing the ria, it had to use sound to warn of its presence when the fog was thicker. Its cargo is probably cars, from Citröen factory in Vigo.
Taken in the Ria de Vigo, on the same day and conditions as my previous post (at ISO 800). In the foreground, Cíes Islands.
Processed at Camera Raw; then multiply layer, contrast, noise and sharpening in PS CS3.

Hi Ines,
Congratulations for this shot, it's a very soft, aquarell like photo! I'm glad I clicked on the thumbnail... I just thought "there must be something, even if it doesn't show"...

espetacular panorama você nos apresenta aqui. Os tons alaranjados estão convincentes e a inclusão do navio brebrou belamente o vazio dessa mar. Belíssima imagem. Parabéns!

Este efecto de niebla es estupendo con la luz razante et la sombra del barco. Ademas, la montaña al fondo amplia mucha profondidad de la imagen.

Hola Inés,
bucólica y bella imagen, con esa neblina sobre la isla le da un cierto toque de añoranza y misterio.
Muy bellos colores en el horizonte.

Hola,
preciosa esta imagen, con estos colores y estas brumas marinas. La composicion en panoramico va muy bien, dando un buen dinamismo a la foto. Unica objeción ;-)...hubiera preferido que el barco fuera un barco pirata con la bandera de la calavera... je, je, je...soy un poco exigente. Ahora en serio,...el ambiente que consigues es impresionante, hace imaginar mucho, y eso es bueno de conseguirlo, no todas las fotos lo consiguen.

Gosto muito deste pôr-do-sol, com o grande contraste (natureza-máquina) entre as ilhas Cies e o navio gigante.
