Hello friends and colleagues, today I propose another view of the Portuguese village of Lanhelas, from the opposite bank of the river Miño that borders between Spain and Portugal, I hope you like it, then some letters on the villa.
Lanhelas is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Caminha, with 4.35 km ² of area and 1,080 inhabitants (2001). Density: 248.3 inhabitants / km ². The parish of Lanhelas is the northernmost in the municipality.
By artisans work closely working with pyrotechnics. Other activities include agriculture, civil construction and river fishing.
Minho Lanhelas viewpoint.
From atop a magnificent coastal scenery unfolds with a vital Minho running merge their waters with the Atlantic. And down the streets of the town are counted among the many stones story behind this parish Caminha, north of the town and surrounded by buildings of interest. Sheltered between the river and the mountain two Jacobean routes, one along the coast and over the mountains, crossing this beautiful place that shows a different perspective of the Minho estuary.
In the center of the parish the eye can see from anywhere in the belfry of the parish church, an interesting construction of the early nineteenth century built on a previous. Oldest is still São Martinho Chapel and remarkable in size and notoriety is the chapel do Senhor do Calvário, on top of Mount Goios.
In civil architecture sets are preserved as the Casa da Torre Tower Lanhelas or riparian margin in a body surrounded by medieval ramparts, in addition to the Casa da Anta, a manor house located in the town of the same name for years turned into hotel rural. Facing the same site a solid mansion of straight lines and solid build stonework commanded by Canon Sebastião Dantas and renovated in 1944 to house the Casa do Povo rises.
From the center you can walk-up or drive-up Cruzeiro da Independencia, a privileged viewpoint of the bank with an imposing stone building. The setting has a recreation area with sculptures.

Great control on the Depth of field, if I had tried this, I know the flowers would have been in focus instead and the town a blur. Great result to shoot this town from this angle, giving a wonderful sense of placed and a great sense of depth. The purple of the flowers is a really nice addition to bring color to the scene.
Thanks as always

bella composizione, i fiori, anche se sfocati, apportano un colore in più alla foto, mentre si ha il blu ripetuto per tre volte a schiarire tutta l'immagine.

A river dividing between countries, in fine blue and green colors. White houses across, seem in very good clarity. The addition of the purple flowers is a vivid and beautiful elements on image.

A fine view of the village across the river with a well chosen colourful foreground. I like the contrast of purple against the light green and dark green background. The photo has very good sharpness and light.

Hola dear Angel
A delightful photo of this little village, surrounded by purple lupins. I like the inclusion of the water, the razor sharp details of the town and the way the lupin flowers naturally frame the image. Well done.
