A detail of Castro Caldelas fortress. It was built towards the end of the Middle Ages by the Lemos family; in the XVIII century it passed to the Alba family, who have later donated it to the council for cultural activities. Being quite well kept, it has been partially destroyed and rebuilt several times, so it's a good example of several architectural styles.
A wider view of this tower.

Printed copy scanned and edited in Photoshop; as the colours were quite good, I just added some light to the shadowy part and sharpened.

I hope you like it! Thanks for watching and for your coments.

Hi Ines, beautiful shot of this structure, from underneath looks really good, I also like your composition and POV, well done, thanks for sharing it with us, regards, Joao Salas

Hello,
I like the way you show with this shot, the incredible talent of whom which builded such things as this tower with so few. The relief on stone is beautifull and those grass add some life to that master work.
Thanks for sharing,
Claude.

I like when we change the classical POV

Beautiful architecture and a novel way of displaying the fine stonework which is very unusual. It has made a very effective and pleasing shot thats quite simple in taste. The only thing I might say is that the stone wall at the bottom is ever so slighly over exposed and I might even like this one in black and white

Hola Ines!
