School time is way past. Children from eight to fourteen are now thinking on which beach or swimming pool they would have more fun.
This school in particular is C. P. Curros Enriquez, named after a distinguished galician writer, more precisely from Celanova (Ourense), who spent part of his life until his death in Cuba, like many other galician people during emigration times. In this matter there is a true paralelism with irish people but instead of north america going to latin america.
Some of his works are Aires da miña terra, O divino sainete, A virxe do cristal...
By the way this was my school during my childhood. Those wonderful days!
