Photographer’s Note

Ourense is a pretty town with it´s traditional narrow streets interrupted by these small squares where people sit at night drinking and socializing.
Actually at the time I took this picture, my husband and I weren´t so happy about this spanish traditional habit, they were right under our room window where we were trying to sleep after long day trip:)

Hi Jin!
"When in Rome do as the Romans do" - this old truth can be useful also in Spain!
During my Spain holiday I accepted a local way of life - that is the best solution for very hot days - eating and enjoy with others all night long! :)
Anyway, your photo is just cute with fantastic colours, perfect captured local atmosphere and huge amount of beautiful details.

My husband is from Ourense but didn't recognize this square but then he doesn't know all it's corners and of course your pov from the hotel would be one he doesn't know. However we do know what the night life is like there. Even though it lacks a bit of sharpness the image is attractive with all the tables and yellow light.

esta foto capta bem o espírito do povo espanhol, sempre disposto a aproveitar bem suas horas vagas em um ambiente ao ar livre. esta foto trouxe-me lembranças do belo território espanhol que conheci em viagem. a técnica da fotografia noturna também é muito boa.
