It’s the most important autumnal festivity in which people pay homage to the fruits that have just been picked: chestnuts and grapes. It’s celebrated the second fortnight of October and it can be defined like a reunion in which people roast and eat chestnuts accompanied by some good wine; they usually add other foods like highly-seasoned pork sausages and different cakes depending on the region. They usually go to the mountains and get fire to burn chestnuts. It usually ends with songs and dances.
