Photographer’s Note

En el entorno de la Torre de Hércules, se encuentra el Parque Escultórico, conocido como Parque Celta o Jardín de Hércules, un espacio natural de 47 hectáreas que conforman un auténtico museo de arte contemporáneo al aire libre.

MENHIRES POR LA PAZ : Manolo Paz (Cambados 1957).
Esta obra también se denomina Familia de Menhires . Es un grupo escultórico de doce piezas, que representan por sus tamaños, los más altos, al padre y la madre, y los demás más pequeños y variados, a los hijos.

Los doce menhires tienen una ubicación estratégica A cada uno se le realizó una abertura por la cual se puede ver el mar, la Torre, el atardecer. Es una obra habitable, se puede entrar en ella recorrerla y sentir la energía. El menhir es una piedra sin pulir erigida verticalmente. Es el símbolo de lo masculino, del destino. También recrean el rito de la rueda del tiempo que gira eternamente. Esta obra se ve desde la Torre y la forma geométrica que se observa es elíptica aunque físicamente forman un círculo.

In the surroundings of the Tower of Hercules, is the sculpture park, known as Celtic Park or Garden of Hercules, a natural area of 47 hectares that make up a veritable museum of contemporary art outdoors.

Menhir FOR PEACE: Manolo Paz (Cambados 1957).
This work is also called Family Menhires. It is a sculptural group of twelve pieces, which account for their sizes, the higher the father and mother, and the other smaller and more varied, the children.

The twelve standing stones are strategically located to each one you had an opening through which you can see the sea, the Tower, dusk. Living is a book, you can enter it walk and feel the energy. The menhir is an unpolished stone erected vertically. Is the symbol of masculinity, of the destination. It also recreate the ritual of the revolving wheel of time forever. This work is visible from the Tower and the geometric shape which is elliptical but is physically form a circle.

Bonjour, Charo. Ces menhirs sont étonnants et tu les as bien placés dans l'image pour qu'ils se détachent sur le ciel. J'aime aussi l'homme et son cerf-volant qui apporte l'échelle et de la variété dans la composition.

Preciosa la composición y el detalle de la cometa, que añade valor al total... El simbolismo de la imagen y de la obra en sí son importantes, por su sentido y por dar valor a ese espacio...

muy buena fotografia, me gusta mucho por los elementos que muestra y el detalle del hombre con la cometa. La luz es muy buena con esos debiles destellos sobre los menhires, gran composicion! felicidades!

bem interessante mesmo essa esculturas, seu posicionamento ficou ótimo para nos mostar as belezas do lugar. Gostei da silhueta do homem com sua pipa ao fundo também.

il soggetto è affascinante, Il POV dal basso da grande slancio, i colori sono bellissimi e la presenza dell'uomo con l'aquilone arricchisce la composizione.

These unique sculptures stand out nicely against the silver-blue sky.

Hallo Charo,
sehr schönes Bild dieser Steinblöcke auf freiem Gelände. Die Bildgestaltung ist sehr schön. Mir gefällt vor allem die Einbeziehung von dem Mann und seinem Drachen. Das Seitenlicht wirft schöne lange Schatten neben die Steine und schenkt uns warme Farbtöne auf den Steinen. Sehr schöne Abendstimmung.

Hey Charo,

I like it - the colors are very vibrant and add a lot to the emotion of the picture. The little guy with the kite in the background completes it. A bit of that dull white, but it actually works well if you ask me. The position of the stones is well though of. You had luck with the guy with the kite and you took it - good job.

Bonsoir, mon amie Charo,
Ces sculptures constituées de blocs de pierre allongés en position verticale bénéficient d'un effet étonnant. De prime abord, j'ai vraiment cru qu'il s'agissait de réels menhirs. La beauté est vraiment particulière et s'inscrit joliment dans ce très beau cadre. Une très belle composition insolite et réussie.

Very surprising menhirs ! I've been at Tower of Hercules a few years ago, but I can't remember this sculptures. You chose a very good point of view, the light is very nice and creates a great atmosphere.
