The Old Ferrol Photo

Photographer’s Note

I'm posting my first photo of Ferrol today. Ferrol is a nice and quite city, situated on the Atlantic coast, in Galicia. Besides being known for being Franco's hometown, Ferrol is also famous for its navy. In fact, the sea can be felt everywhere if you go around and the seaguls are quite familiar here. I took this photo in an area called Old Ferrol by sunset, when the port gets wonderful light in summer.There are usually lots of colourful boats, people walking around and the terraces of the cafés are crowded.

Ana,
Nice composition and POV. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The colorful boat adds nice contrast to the earth tones of the wall and buildings. You have captured a nice reflection creating good depth and interest.

You have caught the boat on a good day with the blue sky as background and a fantastic place..
Yeah, that's a place to visit...for a relaxed mood..

Hola Ana,
El barquito que va a Mugardos, yo he ido varias veces en él a comer el pulpo en esa villa.
Excelente captura con gran luminosidad y definición.
Tuviste mucha suerte con el día de sol, ya que últimamente no lo vemos mucho.

Hola Anabela.
Por fin te has decidido a visitar España. La zona de Galicia, no suele proporcionar días tan soleados como el que tuviste la suerte de disfrutar. Eso te ha permitido sacar en tu foto unos excelentes colores y unos reflejos maravillosos en el agua. Espero que disfrutases de las delicias gastronómicas que ofrece la zona. Un saludo amiga.

Me gusta mucho la foto y el reflejo del barco,ademas de que no sabia que habia palmas datileras en Galicia yo juraria que estoy en Marruecos o en Andalucia.

Me gusto tu nota, es intereante saber que es el lugar donde nacio F. Franco.

I like this bright and colorful harbor shot, Impressive to see the water level difference during tide. looks like it is a couple of meters.
Not like Denmark, where most places we hardly notice it at all.
