Photographer’s Note

The Island, original park of the XVIIth century, formed by the river Jerte, which, on having come to Plasencia, forks in two, leaving in his interior a plain with trees, which they provide to the place of big beauty.
In summer he turns out to be infested with visitors who look in the cool that provides the shade of his trees, a suitable place to happen the day. Also the lovers of the sports as the swimming or the oar will be able to enjoy the waters of this river.

el día que tomaste esta foto mi esposa y yo celebrábamos nuestro 33º aniversario de boda.....
Me encanta la sensación de paz que inspira la imagen, con una gran luz, unas largas sombras y unos fantásticos colores otoñales. Hay una buena perspectiva gracias a un buen encuadre y a la geometría de los árboles, y bonitos reflejos en el agua.

Good reminder for latest autumn in beautiful scene with splendid colors. Clever usage of one side of pool leading to the depth. Lovely, colorful trees and sky wonderful. Congratulations.

I love the lighting in this image. It gives you that feeling of autumn and makes you almost feel the coolness of it.

IMO, you were standing on a bend of that concrete wall, perhaps you could place it as more diagonal so that the row of trees lined up in nice interval. But your pov is nice here as it is and the color saturation just great. I like the calm and quiet atmosphere shown in this capture. Good work.

Hola Charo,
this one has amazing colours and a wonderful light. The view along the water with the trees in a row all in the shades of autumn is just appealing. The background cloud makes a good final, also in the reflection.

Hola Charo.
Creo que de la serie "estaciones" me quedo con esta,no solo porque el otoño siempre me ha parecido una época de gran colorido y repleta por todas partes de cambios muy vistosos,tambien porque es la que más me gusta de las cuatro,aunque es bastante probable que tenga que ver lo primero en lo segundo...
Me gusta el color y la composición,quiza mejor con los árboles de primer plano completos,pero se perdería en detalles y color,asique está bien así.
La foto me recuerda cuando a veces miro los árboles en otoño y pienso que somos los seres vivos que más tardan en darse cuenta de los cambios,si es que nos damos cuenta...
