La Catedral Vieja de Plasencia, de estilo de transición del románico al gótico, tiene en su exterior una portada románica de arco de medio punto con arquivoltas. Se empezó a construir en el siglo XIII y fue ampliada en el siglo XV. Posee tres naves y cuatro tramos con bóveda de crucería, obra de Gil de Císlar. En su claustro rectangular de inspiración cisterciense se puede observar la imagen de Santa María la Blanca del siglo XII, en estilo gótico.

Fue obra de los maestros Juan Francés, Juan Pérez y Diego Díaz.

Desde el claustro se accede a la Capilla de San Pablo (antigua Sala Capitular de la catedral, atribuída a Gil de Císlar), de estilo románico-gótico con influencias bizantinas y orientales.

En la Catedral Vieja de Plasencia se encuentra el Museo Catedralicio con una colección de pinturas y esculturas de artistas españoles y flamencos como Morales o Gerard David. También posee ornamentos religiosos y objetos de culto de los siglos XV al XVII.

Su cimborrio se suele incluir en el denominado grupo de Grupo de cimborrios leoneses junto con las catedrales de Zamora y Vieja de Salamanca y la Colegiata de Toro.

The Old Cathedral of Plasencia, style of transition from the Romanesque to Gothic, has a cover on the outside Romanesque half-point arc with archivolts. It was started in the thirteenth century and was enlarged in the fifteenth century. It has three naves and four tranches with ribbed vaults, the work of Gil de CISL. In its rectangular cloister of the Cistercian inspiration you can see the image of Santa Maria la Blanca twelfth-century Gothic.

It was the work of teachers John French, Juan Diego Perez and Diaz.

Since the faculty are dropped into the Chapel of St. Paul (formerly of the Cathedral Chapter House, attributed to Gil de CISL), Romanesque-Gothic style with oriental and Byzantine influences.

In the Old Cathedral of Plasencia is the Cathedral Museum with a collection of paintings and sculptures by artists such as Spanish and flamenco Morales or Gerard David. He also holds religious ornaments and ceremonial objects from the XV to XVII.

His cimborrio is usually included in the group called Group cimborrios Leonese along with the cathedrals of Old Zamora and Salamanca and the Collegiate Toro.

I took this picture without the tripod and used by the ISO (1600) I was left with little noise.
